HVAC Service & Installation Technician

Position Overview

As an HVAC Service & Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on various HVAC systems. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to customer service. You’ll work directly with customers and collaborate with the Prestige team to deliver solutions that align with our quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Installations: Perform installations of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Service & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems to maintain optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improved system longevity.
• Customer Communication: Explain system functionality, maintenance tips, and recommendations to customers in a clear and friendly manner.
• Quality Assurance: Test equipment after installation or repair to ensure proper performance and quality standards.
• Documentation: Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Certified HVAC Technician with a valid G2 or G1 gas license (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC installation and/or service roles
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
